Miamism Fridays

Miami’s Design District is full of evocative art everywhere you look – it’s modern, it’s chic and it captures the pulse of Miami.  Lori Todd, a visual journalist for The Miami Herald (aka lorimari on Flickr) captures the essence of that art with this photo.

….another Miamism!!

  1. This picture really resonates. The colors of the mural itself are vivid and can tweak one’s emotions. They really fit the content itself. Additionally, the fact that this is clearly a picture of that work serves as a reminder that the mural is embedded within a place and part of its culture rather than a standalone, irrelevant piece.
