Art & Live with Ines Hegedus-Garcia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ines Hegedus-Garcia.

Ines, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I’m a creative at heart with a bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Miami. After a few curve balls from life chose to be a full-time REALTOR but always with a creative focus because it’s what I’m good at.

Decided to specialize in historic and architecturally significant properties with a constant creative perspective on everything I do, from marketing to the use of technology to even community and leadership involvement. Creativity fuels my life and reciprocates that energy with the universe on the daily.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
My art has been translated into marketing. As a REALTOR I sell a lifestyle, I sell Miami and it’s not about me and what I’ve achieved, but sharing the gift of our beautiful city. My Instagram gallery reflects Miami and lifestyle from architecture to the feel of our city.

I also draw pen and inks of beautiful properties and I write on my blog, miamism.com about real estate, architecture, preservation and what’s happening in Miami. I experiment with new marketing avenues, like mojito reviews, photos of cocktails and places.

Artists rarely, if ever pursue art for the money. Nonetheless, we all have bills and responsibilities and many aspiring artists are discouraged from pursuing art due to financial reasons. Any advice or thoughts you’d like to share with prospective artists?
I have been able to find a creative “out” through my work as a realtor, which ultimately pays the bills. I think no matter the industry you choose, you are able to find some sort of creative and/or artistic aspect that will complement the pocket and the soul.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I’m on about all the social media platforms. You can visit my blog and use Flickr.com as our library for art and photos.
