I love when cities celebrate their pedestrian spaces instead of treating them as places to simply pass through.

One of the things Coral Gables does exceptionally well is bring art into the public realm and invite people to interact with it. The latest installation, Cielo Tejido (A Woven Sky), transforms Giralda Plaza into a colorful canopy of handwoven textiles.

Look up. Walk slower. Take the long way.
